Naveen leads global disruptive innovation edge organisation NBS X, that has been setup to develop and implement disruptive and exponential solutions at scale for the company. The team works as a internal ‘start-up’ and pursues high risk and high return solutions, working with leading innovators, start-ups, PE firms and technology services companies.

Naveen is the Head of Novartis Hyderabad, with responsibility for the overall leadership of Novartis operations at Hyderabad, comprising over 6,500+ associates from various divisions and functions of Novartis. He leads the Site Leadership Team that provides leadership and governance for all site-related matters and provides oversight for all site capabilities such as finance, facilities, legal, human resources, IT, compliance, process excellence, innovation, and project management.

During his over 25+ years of experience — the last 20 of which have been in Shared Services and global delivery centers — he has held various leadership roles across Asia, the Middle East and Europe in diverse areas such as IT, Finance & Accounting, and Customer Services.

Naveen is a Chartered Accountant, trained at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, graduated from Osmania University in Hyderabad, and has completed the Asia Leadership Program at INSEAD in Singapore.

Naveen is also holds the National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom) co-chair for Hyderabad chapter and plays an active part in driving the Global Capability Center (GCC) agenda on behalf of the member organizations.
